Following my post about duping Google's search records , I noticed that Google currently has no intention to give up such data to the US government apart from when required to by law. This sounds like a dubious distinction given that the government's asked a judge to rule on the matter, but at least Google is showing some signs of resolve, following its capitulation to Chinese interests. Enough has been written about the latter, so I won't go on.
