Adrenalin keeping the online hermits going

Apparently, the four individuals living “by the net alone” for four days are having the time of their lives. Some are being more successful than others at catering for their basic needs (one poor chap is clothed in pajamas and socks still), but all are enjoying themselves.

What is the internet about? It is about getting access to vast quantities of information, a lot of it obsolete, irrelevant or wrong. It is about being bombarded by emails from friends, foes and people you have never hear of. It is about goods and services being provided online, with varying levels of service competence. Most of all, as all these examples attest, it is quite simply a new communications medium – and we all love to communicate.
