Any SD Card computer Geeks Out There?

As I was spending a bit of time tuning my Windows XP settings, I noticed I could set the paging file to be on any drive, even ones that were only temporary - i.e. hanging off a USB port. Suddenly I had what might be a brainwave - but might not - It occurred to me that I might be able to make use of the SD card port as a solid state paging volume. It wouldn't be as fast as RAM, but surely it would be faster than paging onto the hard drive? Laptop memory is a darn sight more expensive than expansion cards
