Any Eastenders fans out there?

I first started talking to the multi-talented Peter Polycarpou a goodly while back, when I was singing a few numbers from Miss Saigon (how's that for declarative living), and I asked him through his Web site whether he had any tips. We've not had much reason to converse, so our email addresses have lurked, unnotticed, in each others' address books. Until recently that is, when Peter got in touch to say he'd be appearing in this week's episodes of Eastenders on the BBC, (I believe) as Yiannis Pappas.
Now I'm not much of an Eastenders follower but I do know that Peter's a lovely chap and a great performer. I also think this is a great example of connectedness - its not just about the links in the chain, but what messages get passed and what actions they trigger. For me, it means I'm actually planning on watching Eastenders for the first time in years! His site has also linked me through to the blog of Caroline Lucas from the WTO summit in Hong Kong, another unexpected demonstration of connectedness as well as being a fascinating account of what went on in December. The truth is out there - if ony there wasn't so much of it!
