Walking The Talk
Walking the Talk
Piecing together a plan of campaign
Capturing actions and loading the train
With well-structured sources of composite data,
Not forcing the answers but stating an aim
Which leaves all affected in minimal doubt
Of who is in charge, of who has the clout
To transport the passengers from A to B
(There just isn’t room for more drivers, you see)
This isn't about who is the best, or more strong
It is more of a question of who's right or wrong
Distrust may be rife in this thing they call 'team’
But while data can't lie, things aren’t what they seem
The truth of the matter, however well hidden
Is that power talks, people want to be bidden
By those who express clarity of thought
Then setting agendas. That's not what we're taught, but:
It isn’t the data controlling the talking.
It’s outspoken ‘leaders’ who’ve taken the reins
And planned end-to-end what the data contains
Such that, when they have finished with setting direction
The models defined for their own protection
See that everyone else is then doing the walking.
