Smart Shift is live (again)
Not with a bang, nor a whimper - I've finally finished porting my book Smart Shift to markdown, and moved it online. It ends pre-current world affairs and use of AI, though this gets a chapter. It was deliberately written as a history of our use of tech, such that it could represent both a point in time and be extensible to the present.
If I had any spare hours in the day I would revise it, even if the conclusion stays the same - that we need to get back in control of our data-driven destiny. Anyways, do give it a read if you want to learn a bit of tech history.
