Fragments

Various incomplete pieces of fiction for adults:

Artemis. I honestly have no idea what this is about, but it may be a detective story. Or a thriller. Or maybe something to do with spies. Or all of them. Who knows.

Dylan. Every fantasy novel starts with the aftermath of a disaster, probably with some embers and broken bodies. This is no exception.

Escape. It's the future, and unemployed people, kids with ASBOs, anyone whose face didn't fit across Britain have been sent to camps. It doesn't end well... for the camps.

The Tunnel. He is dead. He killed himself, the last of his kind. He retraces his steps, follows his journey back before a final, shocking discovery. That's the idea, anyway.

Unplugged. Short and sweet. I had the idea of someone trying to separate from the modern, digital, privacy-poor world. 404 was another title, as in 'Not found'.

A Day's Work. The story of a house cleaner with a secret. Or several secrets, which unfold as the story emerges. If it ever does. Perhaps it will, one day.
