Deeper

Deeper

I stare into the dark blue pools of your eyes
They take me on a journey far away, to places
Where we lie beneath the starry nights and big skies
Crimson red and cyan blue, colours of the night and day

I follow every curve of your caress, meandering
Across the flowing landscape of our bodies, intertwined
Voyagers that plot new journeys of undress, following
The dream light of shared sentinels of grace

I venture, dare to enter the abyss of your belonging
The darkest places in my soul are opened to your gaze
Together in communion we go deeper, still descending
As we leave the world behind, forgotten by the light
