Claus Egge was one of the first analysts I met, and one of the first I admired. Calm, analytical (it helps), Claus never needed to be highly vocal to impress. When he spoke, he spoke with quiet authority. While I never knew him outside the analyst circuit, I often had the pleasure of his company and, from time to time, the benefit of his advice. RIP, Claus. You will be missed by many.
Goodbye Claus. I’m glad we drank a few beers together – I learned a lot from you.
Claus – a real gentleman in every way. A great loss. I will always remember him at Boston Legal Sea Foods eating Lobster with the special bib on. This is a sad day.
